C16 - or: Why Jörg is the one to blame!

We were in highschool, somewhere around 8th grade, which means, we must have been 13 years old.

As far as I remember there were only few boys (this is no anti-woman-thing, but a fact: boys!) that weren't begging their parents to give them a computer - which wasn't very usual. So one hang out at the local department stores to play around on the computers, they were displaying there. At least, if you got a chance to - because there were many others to do so!

Schneider CPCs, Acorns, Commodores and many more. Even some classic german typwriter-producers which tried to sell typwriters with monitors connected to them... we loved'em all. Althought... maybe those typwriters not so much!

The first guy I remember getting a computer was my best friend Jörg . It was a Commodore C16 that his mother bought at Aldi - a local grocery in Europe, that wasn't as popular back then, as it is today.
