Did you know, that Disney is childish, rediculous and uncool?! Yep, that's what I thought in 1992, when our circle of friends decided to take a trip to the newly founded Euro Disney Resort near Paris (which, after some changes, now is known as Disneyland Resort Paris).

What can I say? I came back from there and my poor parents had to listen to my praises on the park all night long. They were very brave but as far as I remember there was a point, when they couldn't withstand my flood of words and had to stop me... timid but still.

And that's, when it all begun. It was the then charismatic Michael Eisner who opened the park on April 12th, 1992. And we went there in September. Since then I've been there for more than thirty times. I've collected many Disney memorabilia and, yes I am addicted to a mouse and their kingdom.

Which was no obstacle for me, to refuse giving my release to Michael Eisner and others from the board of directors of the Walt Disney Company, when Roy E. Disney asked "us shareholders" to do so - to SaveDisney.com !
