Berlin... the capital city that nearly arranged the Olympics
| Potsdamer Platz | Someone remembering "Berlin 2000"? That was the official title for Berlin's candidacy to the Olympic Games of that millenium year (yawn!). Sydney made it, half of Berlin was happy, the other half was deepley disappointed... but let's face it: It's long ago! But what Berlin ever was and forever will be: It's my hometown. I was born in Berlin and since then I lived here. "I love this city" - and I do not have to jump around like a silly bear. By the way... even Steve Ballmer (CEO Microsoft) was here! Soon I will give you some glimpses on this lovely city that I am able to live in...
